Georgia Griffiths影像上海藝術(shù)博覽會(huì)將于今年設(shè)立 Exposure Award，現(xiàn)對(duì)所有畫(huà)廊開(kāi)放申請(qǐng)。
設(shè)立這一獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)旨在挑戰(zhàn)人們對(duì)攝影可能性的理解。為此，博覽會(huì)特別鼓勵(lì)呈現(xiàn)前沿影像的畫(huà)廊提交藝術(shù)家個(gè)展申請(qǐng)。
權(quán)威評(píng)審團(tuán)隊(duì)將根據(jù)藝術(shù)家的創(chuàng)作特質(zhì)和概念的創(chuàng)新性來(lái)判斷申請(qǐng)是否獲獎(jiǎng)。今年，影像上海將于9月19-22日在上海展覽中心舉辦。評(píng)審團(tuán)將在2019影像上海藝術(shù)博覽會(huì)上，為獲獎(jiǎng)畫(huà)廊免費(fèi)提供一個(gè)20平米的展位。
所有申請(qǐng)必須于4月19日前發(fā)送至 applications@photofairs.org。
首屆 Exposure Award 評(píng)委包括：現(xiàn)代傳播文化藝術(shù)平臺(tái)主席曹丹；光社藏家兼創(chuàng)始人王珺；SUUM Projects策展人兼創(chuàng)始人 Jiyoon Lee 以及獨(dú)立策展人Christopher Philips。
作為亞太地區(qū)首屈一指的攝影、影像藝術(shù)作品國(guó)際博覽會(huì)，影像上海藝術(shù)博覽會(huì)為畫(huà)廊提供了一個(gè)無(wú)與倫比的平臺(tái)，使其與藏家、策展人和美術(shù)館建立連接，并共同處于一個(gè)充滿動(dòng)力、快速發(fā)展的市場(chǎng)之中。
由于博覽會(huì)既提供現(xiàn)代杰作，也提供當(dāng)代藝術(shù)，我們便意識(shí)到在一個(gè)新市場(chǎng)上推出極具突破性和創(chuàng)新性作品的困難。Exposure Award 這一獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)通過(guò)資助20平米展位與一位翻譯的方式，將消除這些經(jīng)濟(jì)風(fēng)險(xiǎn)，以確保我們的畫(huà)廊、藝術(shù)家和藏家切實(shí)探索影像所能。

Applications are now open for the inaugural Exposure Award at PHOTOFAIRS | Shanghai.
Launched to challenge our understanding of the possibilities of photography, the Fair invites proposals for solo artist presentations in support of galleries exhibiting cutting-edge photography.
Applications will be judged on the innovative nature of the artist’s technique and concept. A prominent selection panel will reward one gallery with a complimentary 20sqm stand at the 2019 edition of PHOTOFAIRS | Shanghai, running September 19-22 at the Shanghai Exhibition Center.

For its inaugural year, the PHOTOFAIRS Exposure Award jury includes : Cao Dan, President, MODERN ART ; Wang Jun, Collector and Founder, The Light Society ; Jiyoon Lee, Independent curator and Christopher Philips, Independent curator .
PHOTOFAIRS | Shanghai is the leading international art fair dedicated to photography and photo-based art works in Asia Pacific. Offering an unrivalled platform for galleries to connect with collectors, curators and museums in a dynamic and rapidly developing market.
Whilst the Fair offers modern masterpieces alongside contemporary photography it recognises the difficulties in experimenting with ambitious and innovative art works in a new market. The Exposure Award prize removes these financial risks to enable our galleries, our artists and our collectors to truly explore what photography can do by offering a subsidised 20sqm booth including a translator.
