But trying telling that to a wealthy Indian man who splashed out ￡14,000 on a solid gold shirt in the hope it will attract female attention.不過這位富有的印度男士顯然不相信這種說法：他豪擲1.4萬英鎊打造了一件貨真價(jià)實(shí)的黃金衣衫，希望可以吸引來異性的關(guān)注。
Money-lender Datta Phuge 32, from Pimpri-Chinchwad, commissioned the shirt which took a team of 15 goldsmiths two weeks to make working 16 hours a day creating and weaving the gold threads.現(xiàn)年32歲的達(dá)塔是一名放債人，來自印度城市賓布里-金杰沃德。他委托了一個(gè)由15名金匠組成的團(tuán)隊(duì)打造這件襯衫，這些匠人每天工作16小時(shí)，耗時(shí)兩周編織金線，終于制作完成這件“金縷衣”。
It comes complete with its own matching cuffs and a set of rings crafted from left-over gold.此外，剩余的黃金還被打造成配套的腕飾以及戒指。
'I know I am not the best looking man in the world but surely no woman could fail to be dazzled by this shirt?' he explained. 達(dá)塔這樣解釋道：“我知道自己長得不好看，但我可以很自信的說，有哪個(gè)女人不會(huì)被這件襯衫閃到眼？”

'It will be an [w]embellishment[/w] to my reputation as the ‘Gold man of Pimpri"' Mr Phuge said.他還說，作為“賓布里的黃金男人”，這件純金襯衫將會(huì)為他的名聲增光添彩。
The gaudy shirt was assembled on a fabric base of imported white velvet, and comes with six Swarovski crystal buttons and an [w]intricate[/w] belt, also made of gold.這件華麗的黃金衣的基布是進(jìn)口白絲絨，上面鑲嵌了六顆施華洛世奇的水晶紐扣，還搭配了一條用黃金制成的復(fù)雜頸帶。
