Typically, financial assistance in the form of loans and scholarships for students from outside of Canada is primarily available from the government of or a designated agency within the student's own country. As a first step, we would advise that you contact the appropriate agency in your area regarding the availability of such awards. However, the University of Calgary is pleased to announce the introduction of a series of new International Awards for undergraduate students!
Awards are available for international students both entering the University of Calgary directly from high school and those continuing their studies who are enrolled full-time in an undergraduate degree program. Entering International students must apply for admission to the University of Calgary by February 1 before applying online for awards. (Note: International students enrolled in LEAP are not eligible)
Students from the United States seeking federal student aid to attend the University of Calgary, should refer to our US Funding web page for specific details. High school guidance counsellors can also provide information on other sources of assistance, including scholarships.
