近代從針灸的研究證明針灸可以影響自主神經(jīng)系統(tǒng)包括交感神經(jīng)和副交應(yīng)神經(jīng)內(nèi)經(jīng)又說： “內(nèi)屬臟腑外絡(luò)肢節(jié)”。
以下我們用神經(jīng)系統(tǒng)來解釋河圖和洛書的數(shù)字。
河圖和洛書上的數(shù)字是代表身體內(nèi)部的炁聚點(diǎn)，而這些聚點(diǎn)又與神經(jīng)系統(tǒng)有連帶關(guān)係，又和五行八卦有直接的關(guān)係。本書更提及中脈的位置，各家不同的修煉，可以產(chǎn)生不同的中脈和輔屬的輪。
目前雖然這些推論還未完善，但亦可以作一種參考。
美國伊文思溫慈博士譯的轉(zhuǎn)識成就法，人體有三十四節(jié)脊骨，而祇有二十一個(gè)輪，所以頸脊骨有七個(gè)(C1-C7)。而骶骨有五個(gè)輪，剩下九輪就是由T1到L5了。
河圖 he tu

2、食管叢，氣管叢
3、三焦
4、心深叢，腹腔神經(jīng)節(jié)，腸系膜上神經(jīng)節(jié)，腸系膜下神經(jīng)節(jié)
5、T1到L3的交感神經(jīng)共十五條，是不是因應(yīng)河圖呢？
6、第一至第五神經(jīng)和尾神經(jīng)
7、七個(gè)頸椎神經(jīng)
8、軀幹神經(jīng)T1- T12每一對神經(jīng)當(dāng)作一，共是六對，再加髂腹下神經(jīng)和髂腹股汋神經(jīng)，總數(shù)就是八。 T1
9、中國十代C7為1，由C7到L5共18條神經(jīng)，半數(shù)是9。
洛書
1、骶叢
2、臂叢
3、三焦或心，肺和大腸神經(jīng)線
4、臂叢和心叢
5、T1到L3的交感神經(jīng)，共十五條，丹田是5嗎?
6、第一至第五骶神經(jīng)和尾神經(jīng)
7、七個(gè)臟腑和迷走神經(jīng)纖維有關(guān)——心、肺、肝、膽、胃、大腸、小腸
8、第一至第五骶神經(jīng)和尾神經(jīng)再加直腸叢
9、食管叢，氣管叢和七個(gè)頸椎神經(jīng)線;C1-C4為頸叢而C5-C7為胸長神經(jīng)。

W.Y enans-wentz translation on the doctrine ofconsciousness-transference states that there are thiry-fourvertebrates but only twenty-one chakra ,c1-c7 have seven chakras1-s5 sacru have five chakra and t1-l5 have nine chakra.
