口頭交流不會(huì)取代文字書寫 

Oral Communication Will Not Take Over Letter Typing

Letter writing exists in many sides, such as messages in the newspaper, the Internet, magazines and books. Letter writing is commonly seen, and we also need to write things down, so it’s impossible that oral communication can completely take the place of letter writing.

文字書寫在很多方面都存在，如報(bào)紙，互聯(lián)網(wǎng)，雜志和書籍上的信息。文字書寫是很常見(jiàn)的，我們也需要記一些東西，所以口頭交流能夠完全代替文字書寫是不可能的。

Nowadays, phone is widely used; people tend to convey their messages to others by making phone calls, they think that’s an easy way. You needn't use a pen and a piece of paper, just need to listen and speak. Thanks to today’s high-technology, cellphone can record people’s voice and send voice messages. And it has a new function that it is unnecessary for them to type.

如今，手機(jī)已經(jīng)被廣泛地使用；人們往往通過(guò)打電話來(lái)傳達(dá)信息，他們認(rèn)為那是簡(jiǎn)單的方式。你不必使用一紙一筆，只需要聽(tīng)和說(shuō)。多虧了如今的高科技，手機(jī)可以記錄音并發(fā)送語(yǔ)音信息。而且它還有一個(gè)新功能，那就是不用打字。

However, some people think letter typing will still remain. These supporters deem it is a better way to store information. A good example is that we make a dictionary with letter writing or typing but not voice. There is another example for explain why typing still exists. Everyone likes to get news. We want to know what happen in our country or the world, and so we read newspaper, or listen to the news reports. If you choose the way of listening, you have to hear something what you don’t want. But instead of listening, you read newspaper, you can pick up the part of newspaper that interests you and read the news in detail. Read newspaper you needn't waste a lot of time to listen to plenty of things about boring news, and have to wait for a long time to the next interesting news.

然而，一些人認(rèn)為文字書寫仍然會(huì)保留。這些支持者認(rèn)為那是存儲(chǔ)信息的一種更好的方式。一個(gè)很好的例子就是我們用紙質(zhì)版的字典是沒(méi)有聲音的。還有另外一個(gè)例子可以解釋為什么文字書寫仍然存在。每個(gè)人都希望收到消息。我們都想知道我們的國(guó)家或者世界上發(fā)生了發(fā)生了什么事，所以我們看報(bào)紙，或著聽(tīng)新聞報(bào)道。如果你選擇用聽(tīng)的方式，你就會(huì)聽(tīng)到一些你不想聽(tīng)的東西。但是不聽(tīng)，而是看報(bào)紙，你可以拿起讓你感興趣的報(bào)紙，然后詳細(xì)地看新聞了。選擇看報(bào)紙，你可以不必浪費(fèi)很多時(shí)間聽(tīng)了那些無(wú)聊的新聞，而且還必須等很長(zhǎng)一段時(shí)間來(lái)等待下一個(gè)有趣的新聞。

In conclusion, both letter writing and oral communication have advantages, so they can coexist.

總之，文字書寫和口語(yǔ)交流都有優(yōu)勢(shì)，所以他們是可以共存的。
