春聯(lián)
每逢春節(jié)，家家戶戶要挑漂亮的春聯(lián)貼于門上，辭舊迎新，表達(dá)人們迎祥納福的美好愿望。
春聯(lián)：Spring Festival scrolls或Spring Festival couplets。
春聯(lián)由上聯(lián)、下聯(lián)、橫批三部分組成，因為上聯(lián)一般貼在大門右邊，所以可以用the right scroll來表達(dá)，相應(yīng)的下聯(lián)用the leht scroll來表達(dá)，橫批一般都在最上面，可以說，the top scroll。

年夜飯
除了貼春聯(lián)，年夜飯也是春節(jié)的標(biāo)配。
年夜飯：New Year's Eve dinner或family reunion dinner
Now more and more families have New Year's Eve Dinner at the restaurant.
現(xiàn)在越來越多的家庭在飯店吃年夜飯 。
通常來講，在北方大部分地區(qū)，餃子是年夜飯必不可少的美食。
有些地區(qū)在除夕夜包餃子的時候還會放硬幣，據(jù)說人們吃到帶有硬幣的餃子會交好運(yùn)，這種餃子就可以說成dumplings with lucky coins inside。
包餃子可以用make dumplings來表達(dá)。

春晚
除夕夜吃年夜飯、看春晚成為中國人慶祝新年及全家團(tuán)圓安康的一種習(xí)俗。
春晚：Spring Festival Gala/ Chinese New Year Gala，當(dāng)表達(dá)看春晚時，可以用動詞watch來表示。
It's become the Chinese custom for many families to watch the CCTV New Year Gala while having New Year's Eve dinner.

另一個是表示，過年期間去親戚、朋友家拜年?？梢杂?/span>pay a New Year visit to來表達(dá)，譯為“去……拜年”。
