“壓歲錢”怎么說？ 紅包：red envelope/packet 除了父母、親戚給的紅包，現(xiàn)在我們還習慣在一些APP上搶紅包。 搶紅包：snatch red envelopes 而傳統(tǒng)意義上的紅包，我們稱為“壓歲錢”~ ① Lucky money 壓歲錢/吉利錢 春節(jié)的時候，中國的孩子都從父母或親戚那里得到一些壓歲錢(lucky money)，就象西方孩子過圣誕節(jié)時從父母那里得到禮物一樣． ② Gift money 壓歲錢 （用“禮物”這層意思來比喻） During the Spring Festival, people say 'Happy New Year! ' to each other and kids get lots of gift money from their parents and grandparents. 在春節(jié)，人們互相拜年，孩子們收到很多爸爸媽媽、爺爺奶奶給的壓歲錢。 “春節(jié)”怎么說？ 春節(jié)在英語里面，是真的用spring（春天）來表示： the Spring Festival 過春節(jié)可以說：celebrate the Spring Festival （celebrate 慶祝） 例句： --How do you celebrate the spring festival in China? --在中國，你們是如何過春節(jié)的？ “春聯(lián)”怎么說？ 每逢春節(jié)，無論城市還是農(nóng)村，家家戶戶要挑漂亮的春聯(lián)貼于門上，辭舊迎新，增加喜慶的節(jié)日氣氛，表達人們迎祥納福的美好愿望，春聯(lián)還可以稱為“對聯(lián)”“對子”等。 春聯(lián)=Spring Festival scrolls/Spring Festival couplets （scroll [skro?l] 紙卷/書卷；couplet [?k?pl?t] 對聯(lián)） 春聯(lián)由上聯(lián)、下聯(lián)、橫批三部分組成，因為上聯(lián)一般貼在大門左邊，所以可以用the left scroll來表達，而下聯(lián)則用the right scroll來表達，橫批一般都在最上面，可以說，the top scroll。 “年夜飯”怎么說？ 除了貼春聯(lián)，年夜飯也是春節(jié)的標配。全家人在一起準備一頓豐盛的年夜飯，然后，吃上半個月…… 年夜飯=New Year's Eve dinner/family reunion dinner 例句： --Now more and more families have New Year's Eve Dinner at the restaurant. --現(xiàn)在越來越多的家庭在飯店吃年夜飯 。
“拜年”怎么說？
“拜年”有兩層意思，一個是表示給別人送去新年祝福：
give one's New Year blessing to sb 把某人的新年祝福送給某人
例句：
--I would like to give my New Year blessing to you.
--我要給你我的新年祝福。
另一個是表示，過年期間去親戚、朋友家拜年：
pay a New Year visit to sb 去給某人拜年
例句：
--I'll be paying a New Year visit to my grandparents tomorrow.
--我明天要去爺爺奶奶家拜年。
