英語動詞在實際使用中常常發(fā)生各種變形，如下：
1）加-s規(guī)則
動詞原形加-s規(guī)則，用于動詞一般現(xiàn)在時。
規(guī)則 | 例詞 |
一般動詞在詞尾加-s | take→takes bring→brings burn→burns change→changes |
以-s,-sh,-ch,-x結(jié)尾的詞，在詞尾加-es | pass→passes wash→washes match→matches fix→fixes |
以-o結(jié)尾的動詞加-es | do→does go→goes |
以輔音字線+y結(jié)尾的動詞，將y改為i，加es | study→studies carry→carries |
以元音字母+y結(jié)尾的動詞，在詞尾加-s | play→plays pay→pays |
